Mailing Module Upgrade for the Business Manager
Five of the latest improvements to the Business Manager software application include:
Questionnaires & Surveys
When creating an email campaign, you can now create feedback questions that can be embedded within the body of the email. You are able to customise option boxes as well as adding questions using text boxes.
These questions can be included inside your mail shot in whatever position you require. As each recipient completes any feedback, either within the email or by using an online form, the responses are saved into your business manager account.
Attachments
Whilst creating an email campaign, you can now upload files to be included with each email as an attachment, such as newsletters or vouchers.
Images
When designing your email using the Email Template editor (WYSIWYG), you may upload images which can easily be placed inside the body of your emails.
Naturally, you are still able to insert custom HTML if you want to use custom designed templates, although this new functionality allows you to design your emails without knowing how to write HTML.
Styling
You may now either add a link to a specific Cascading Style Sheet (e.g. *.css) which is available on the internet, or add your own style sheet directly to the mailing record. When adding your styling directly to the mailing record the Email Template will allow any styles you have included to be available in the styling drop down.
Unsubscribe
By adding the unsubscribe tag to your email template the Business Manager will automatically add unsubscribe information, something that is now essential when sending out emails. The information is recorded within the Business Manager database ensuring that you cannot email those contacts again in the future.
